Clivet S.p.A.(“Clivet”), a leader in Europe’s HVAC manufacturing industry, and, Mits Airconditioning Inc. (“Mits Air”), one of North America’s leading HVAC distributors, are pleased to announce Mits Air’s Master Distribution rights for Clivet HVAC systems for commercial and industrial sectors in North America.

“We were one of the first to bring European chiller and heat pump technology to North America over 20 years ago,” says Jack Eliav, President of Mits Air. “Our team has the experience, expertise and well-oiled systems to ensure a smooth and successful entry for Clivet in North America.” Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Mits Air has provided HVAC solutions for sophisticated and challenging projects such as commercial buildings, hospitals, nursing homes, educational facilities, and residential buildings for over 37 years.

While Clivet currently exports to 90 countries worldwide, the agreement with Mits Air represents Clivet’s first expansion into North America. “Clivet is eager and ready to enter the North American market” says Stefano Malagò, Export Sales Director, Clivet. “Born out of Italian and European engineering excellence, Clivet stands firmly behind the design, energy efficiency and cutting-edge technology of our products and continues to be a pioneer by anticipating market needs with sustainable solutions.”

Clivet is preparing to offer a notably wide variety of products to the North American market, including heat pumps, polyvalent heat recovery units, chillers, free cooling chillers, modular chillers/heat pumps, fan coils. “These top tier products are designed to lower our carbon footprint while providing the highest efficiencies possible” says Mr. Chaters.
